History

 

CEO / Founder Nathan Devonte readied and officially launched the entertainment website on 5th January 2015. Seeking to give you a front row seat to the hottest celebrity news, taking you beyond the show curtains to serve the tea through exclusive interviews. Addressing the name β€˜Team Curtains’, Nathan explains within his website welcome message:

 

“this name came to me with the idea that my team of contributors will serve you the lastest tea, tea is used as slang for gossip. We aim to show you each celebrity past the stage show Curtains. Team Curtains = Backstage Gossip.”

 

More than a year on, The Curtains Team is a solid team of 5 writers (and a few guest writers), who each play a varied role in the daily running of the site. The Team Curtains brand is beyond a website, with social media playing a huge part in its daily readership interactions.

 

In 2015, the Team Curtains Instagram page was deleted 3 times after various reports from celebrity fans and other media outlets, but this has not stopped the team from expanding, opening a new page and rebuilding a presence each time. Today, the entertainment website has over 100K followers across the network. The Team Curtains Facebook page reaches +300,000 people weekly, Instagram +3,000,000, Twitter +150,000 and the reach is growing…
