It was first announced that music heavyweights Coldplay would be performing at the Pepsi Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show. Then came the rumours that Bruno Mars – who performed at the Super Bowl half time show in 2014 – would be one of their special guests. If that wasn’t enough to get your interest, now Pepsi have confirmed to ET that none other than Queen Bey herself will be returning to the Super Bowl on 7 February!

The reveal isn’t as random as some may think. Beyonce worked with Coldplay on their last album A Head Full of Dreams where her soothing vocals can be heard on the song Hymn for the Weekend. Yonce and her husband Jay Z are also pals with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.

Beyonce previously performed at the Super Bowl halftime show back in 2013 where she commanded the stage as she belted out hit after hit with fierce choreography and even had appearances from her former Destiny’s Child group members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.
