Peep this hopeful statement given to Madame Noire, by R&B Divas Atlanta executive producer Phil Thornton (15th Jan):

“I have enjoyed producing three seasons of R&B Divas Atlanta. TV One has made no definitive decision as to the future of R&B Divas Atlanta. I would hope the fans get to see at least one more season of TV One’s highly rated series. We are almost done filming the 3rd season of R&B Divas Los Angeles, which premieres in February. I’m so excited about our new additions to the cast this season.”

Let’s hope for at least one more season!

Just yesterday we heard that VH1’s “Sorority Girls” has been chopped. Now today it is reported that the decision has been made to cancel another reality show.

After three season it’s time to say goodbye to the R&B Divas of Atlanta; Monifah, Syleena Johnson, Meelah, LaTavia Roberson, Keke Wyatt and Angie Stone – fans will certainly be disappointed.

We’ve checked out TV One’s website and despite there being no official statement it has been said by AlwaysAList.com that cast members were informed earlier this week.

Could former cast member Nicci Gilbert have something to do with the shut down? Nicci claims that new reality show ‘Hollywood Divas’ was marketed as spinoff of “R&B Divas,” and both herself and Faith Evans, (who are credited as one of the shows executive producers) should have been compensated!

Peep this statement by Nicci Gilbert herself.

We have questions… What will happen to “R&B Divas: LA” series? Does this mean the ladies are never going to do this mega-tour-idea? What do you think of this news?

Do you think the show peaked already?
