Carlos Santana: “Beyonce Is Not A Singer” Taneisha Nicole February 17, 2017 Musician Carlos Santana may be of legendary status in the music game, but we all know the Behive will give two hoots about that. A few celebrities have had their say on Beyonce‘s Grammy snub, including Kendrick Lamar, and even this years Album of the Year recipient herself, Adele. However, this one won’t go down so well we’re sure. The Latin rock star spoke with The Australian Associated Press explaining why he believes Adele won over Beyonce, “I think that Adele won because she can sing,” says Santana. Now at this point we can already guess what you’re thinking, something along the lines of “Wait, what?” or an acronym of some sort. Right? Well there’s more. “With all respect to our sister Beyoncé, Beyoncé is very beautiful to look at and it’s more like modeling kind of music ― music to model a dress ― she’s not a singer, singer, with all respect to her.” Beyonce performing at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards this year, and posing in the press room with her Grammy wins at the 46th Grammy Awards in 2004. Elaborating on his comments, the 69-year-old say’s “Adele can sing, sing. She doesn’t bring all the dancers and props, she can just stand there and she just stood there and sang the song and that’s it, and this is why she wins”. Well, hey, he did say with ‘respect to’ Beyonce….we guess. Santana soon realizes he didn’t want these problems as he took to his Twitter page to clarify his comment with some backpedaling. Hell, he is Carlos Santana, so how mad are you really going to be? As he more or less said, maybe he minced his words…somehow…possibly. Plus he said it all with the utmost “respect”, let’s not forget that. Your Thoughts?
