Faith Evans Teases ‘The King And I’ Album With Two Buzz Singles [Listen] Team Curtains February 1, 2017 Looks like 2017 is gonna be the year of the urban comeback! This month we’ve had new music from Missy Elliott, Letoya Luckett, Keyshia Cole, Ed Sheeran & now we can add Faith Evans to that list… It’s been a full twelve months since we told you that Faith was readying a duet album with her late husband, Notorious B.I.G. and this weekend her team ignited the buzz with two summer-themed R&B feel-good anthems. The 43-year old R&B Diva teases her seventh studio album, The King And I, with new buzz singles ‘NYC‘ featuring rapper Jadakiss & ‘When We Party‘ featuring ‘Tha Doggfather’ rapper Snoop Dogg, or Snoop Lion. The new LP promises a treat for fans of Biggie Smalls a.k.a. Christopher Wallace, already so far we can hear vocals from his ’93 cut, “Mumbling And Whispering” & radio churner “Going Back to Cali,” sampled on the project.
