FIRED!?: Tamar Braxton +The REAL Release Joint Statement Confirming Her Departure From Show Team Curtains May 22, 2016 They TRIED it!! As we previously reported, Singer/Talk show host Tamar Braxton was rumored to have been FIRED from the popular daytime show, The REAL. Well now both Tamar and the show are speaking out. Following our report Braxton and The REAL released this joint statement: “THE REAL and Tamar Braxton have mutually decided that Tamar will not be continuing with the show for its upcoming third season. She will be leaving in order to concentrate on her solo career. Everyone associated with THE REAL appreciates Tamar’s efforts and the contributions she has made to the show’s success, and we wish her all the best for the future.” “Mutually” ?…hmm it sure didn’t sound that way when the Grammy nominated singer announced that she would be taking a break from social media after the rumors had surfaced of her being FIRED from the hit show. Something smells a little fishy! While it is still unclear as to what the REAL tea is behind Tamar’s departure, rumors suggest that this may have something to do with Braxton’s co-hosts Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, and Adrienne Bailon (All who have been unfollowed by the ‘Love & War’ singer via social media). However, some believe it may be the work of the newly hired executive producer Rachel Miskcowiec who has taken over the reigns from the creator of The REAL, SallyAnn Salsano. Nonetheless, this is a HUGE loss for the daytime talk show, as Braxton and her big personality served as a main attraction to the show’s viewer base. Not to mention her many catchphrases, like “Lies you tell” and “You TRIED it!” have spawned off into signature segments for the show that will surely be missed. What are your thoughts on this story?
