Inside Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3: Not Your Typical Fashion Show Naouel Achouri February 12, 2016 As we wrote it yesterday, Kanye West showcased his fashion collection Yeezy Season 3 and new album The Life Of Pablo at the Madison Square Garden. The event was live streamed via TIDAL and theaters all around the world, the whole Kardashian Clan was here to support him, as well as Jay Z, 50 Cent, Frank Ocean, Jennifer Hudson, Lil’ Kim, Pusha T, Travis Scott, Vic Mensa, 2 Chainz, Anna Wintour, Jaden Smith and Lamar Odom. Oh hey Lamar! #KanyeWest, #CaitlynJenner, #LamarOdom, #NorthWest, #KylieJenner, #KendallJenner, #KrisJenner, #KimKardashian, #KhloeKardashian, #KourtneyKardashian… Wait! Where’s #Tyga? (He’s there, too. In heaven, fuccbois can finally get some Balmain.) Archangel Naomi Campbell is there. As is Lamar Odom, because what heaven would ever leave Lamar Odom out in the cold. And Donda, she’s there, too, as an angel riding a Pegasus in video-game form. This is not something we question, because who questions miracles. Kanye is godall fuccbois were made in his image, after all. there is dancing, even though the music is almost too loud to decipher. It’s the cool type of dancing, where nobody sweats or messes up their perfect Macklemore undershave.” Yeezy in red T-shirt, with the legend “I Feel Like Pablo” on it streamed his new album to the crowd. When the music began and the big taupe covering was removed to reveal a clustered mini-city of Yeezy models standing around and in and on top of what looked like a little public squalor. Let’s talk about The Life Of Pablo, the album contains many guest such as Rihanna, who offers brilliant vocals on the Nina Simone-sampled “Famous,” Chance the Rapper drops strong bars on the spiritual “Ultra High Beams,” and The Weeknd helped bring “FML” more depth. Young Thug, Frank Ocean, The-Dream, Kid Cudi, Kirk Franklin, Kelly Price, El DeBarge, and Ty Dolla $ign are among the other acts on the album. The moving moment of the show was without hesitation, Ye’s warm tribute to his late mother’s passing, the rapper teased a video game called Only One which explore Donda West’s journey into heaven. Kanye previewed his new video game inspired by his late mother. “Only One: The Game” pic.twitter.com/fB8OsyvFaK — TeamKanyeDaily (@TeamKanyeDaily) February 11, 2016 The show was like the image of his creator, unique. Yeezy Season 3 was accompanied by a performance by visual artist Vanessa Beecroft. Supermodels Naomi Campbell, Veronica Webb and Alek Wek showed up at the stage. Symbolism filled the air as they raised fists, threw up middle fingers, and peace signs. Some of the models danced, while others shed tears.
