We are still mopping up the remains from our latest juicy interview with Singer and Reality TV star Margeaux Simms. The Canadian native sat down with us to talk about everything from Shower Rods to Stacey Dash and it was EVERYTHING!

“I’m not gay for pay” says Simms, speaking on her career choices. “I don’t do things for pay, I don’t do thing for money, I do it because its real, now you wanna make a mockery of things, then its time for me to be out!”

Now, for those you who may be unfamiliar with the 31-year old artist, Simms gained international recognition after she appeared on season 4 of the Mother of all Ratchet Reality TV Shows, Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. Simms was introduced as the “secret wife” of Nikko London, a music producer/aspiring rapper turned adult pornstar, who was romantically linked to fellow cast mate/ Vivid star Mimi Faust.

TeamCurtainsmargo5Although married, Simms and London had been legally separated and remained friends. During that time Simms began dating model, Merika Pelmiste, and London publicly dated and even ‘leaked’/released a sex tape with Faust, to which he received tons of criticism… and exposure!

Despite being broken up and blindsided by London’s questionable decision-making, while on the show, Simms stuck by London causing a rift between her and other cast mates who disliked him.

A few curse words and hair weaves later, Margeaux is back with a bold new look to set the record straight on rumors of being fired and to spill the tea behind her time on the show, as well as her thoughts on Nikko now, which LHHATL girl she’d smash, and her new music distribution deal with Empire.

It’s not every day that you come across someone from the Love & Hip Hop franchise who actually has talent and isn’t afraid to showcase it. So when Leon Calvin Mack got the opportunity to sit down and chat with the ‘Ordinary Love’ singer, he jumped at the chance!

In our interview with Margeaux speaks her new music, relationship with Nikko (4:10), a fun game of Smash or Pass (10:10), her views on the anti-homosexual laws in Jamaica (12:20), Beyonce’s ‘Formation‘ movement (13:30), Stacey Dash (15:30) & of course, we put her on the spot with our famous Hot Fire Round (18:20). We hope she leaves that shower curtain back there right where it belongs! A tour, new music, AND a distribution deal with Empire?! Margeaux is definitely on the come up and making big moves and from the look of her new music video for ‘Start A War,’ it seems that her star is only shining brighter as she leaves Atlanta-based VH1 show in the dust of smoke and ashes (and table-shaking “coonery”).
