This years BET Awards was serving some amazing talent we have to admit, it was a great show. We were graced with performances from Janelle Monáe, Chris Brown, Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj and let’s not forget the groundbreaking Bad Boy records reunion starring our girl Faith Evans & Queen Bee Lil Kim.

But the highlight of the ceremony was the medley of Janet Jackson’s hit singles performed by artists Ciara, Tinashe and Jason Derulo, each artist showed off their dance moves to songs, ‘Pleasure Principle’, ‘Rhythm Nation’ and ‘All for you’.

Let’s just say that Ci-Ci stole the night channelling Ms Jackson in ‘If’ performance, perhaps Ciara is an heir of Janet as Ciara did a great job embodying her dance moves.

The iconic star of the night was presented with the inaugural Ultimate Icon Music Dance Visual Award by songwriting production team Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.
