Janet Jackson With Child? Tour Postponed! Taneisha Nicole April 7, 2016 When you’re a part of a legendary musical family such as the Jackson’s and you have paid your dues, is there a care in the world to give about ruffling the feathers of concert-going fans when cancelling and delaying tour dates? We guess not in the case of Janet Jackson, who had previously cancelled multiple tour dates for what was announced as vocal chord rest and an unspecified surgical procedure a few months back. Adding to that, she has now announced, on Wednesday, that the second leg of her “Unbreakable” tour will be delayed as her and husband Wissam Al Mana have decided to start planning a family and told by doctors to take some rest. Although fans may be annoyed at the timing, we’re sure even they will not deny that this is a great news for the couple. That said, a question which may be on the minds of many is ‘what took her so long?’ The ‘All For You’ singer who is turning 50-years-old in May, has a career which spans over 40 years and past long term relationships, we have only ever seen her as Aunty to her many nieces and nephews. For whatever reason she has remained childless, this announcement is the greatest news as we think she’ll be a great Mother. “Please if you can try and understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor’s orders,” the singer says in her announcement video posted to twitter. It can’t be the easiest task to conceive and carry a child at 50, so it is almost certain that the rest is definitely needed. Check out the announcement below: Your Thoughts?
