Jennifer Lopez has broke off ties with former Island Def Jam Music Group, she has signed a new deal with longtime friend LA Reid’s Epic Records company. The singer rushed to Instagram to announce the good news! Heading Back Home! Reid Monday night at Il Mulino to celebrate her new record deal!” the source tells Us of the trio’s get-together in NYC on February 29. “Jennifer and L.A. are longtime friends, and they love working together.” For most of her career, the Shades of Blue actress, 46, has released her dance-heavy discography through Epic Records. In 2010, she left the label to sign with Def Jam where Reid, 59, served as CEO at the time.
