Karrueche Tran Booked As Vh1’s America’s Next Top Model Judge Team Curtains March 23, 2016 You Go Girl! The word is out that Chris Brown’s ex- Karrueche has bagged herself a new gig as ANTM judge. It was just last week we reported that Wilhelmina model Tran said Chris is history! Well it seems the aspiring actress has bagged herself a new gig, no we aren’t talking about her YouTube cooking show, we are talking high fashion. Following the departure of the shows lead, supermodel Tyra Banks, America’s New Top Model will be revised and aired on VH1. The show wrapped up its run in December after 12 years and 22 cycles on UPN. Since VH1 have napped the show and with big plans. VH1’s g.m. Chris McCarthy said they would “reinvent” the franchise for a new generation. Currently VH1 has secured 14 episodes of a new line-up, fresh judge panel and the show set to move to New York. The new show is expected to air this year, but currently no word yet on a premiere date. Following on from this, according to Page Six: As rumors swirl that one of the models of the moment, Gigi Hadid or Kendall Jenner, could replace Tyra Banks as host of the relaunched “America’s Next Top Model,” sources exclusively tell Page Six that Karrueche Tran could be a judge. Spies said that Tran, the former stylist and model who also previously dated bad-boy singer Chris Brown, is being considered to join the show, which is moving to VH1 after being canceled by the CW. “They’re changing the style and tone of the show,” said a source about the upcoming season. Banks will still executive-produce the modeling competition. This year, Tran also collaborated on a makeup line with ColourPop, called KaePop. A VH1 rep didn’t get back to us.
