With the final offering of her Back 2 Life visual trilogy Letoya Luckett proves she’s here to stay for the love of R&B, not sales.

 

The founding member of Destiny’s Child, 36, follows lead singles ‘Back 2 Life‘ & ‘Used To‘ with the final installment, ‘In The Name Of Love,’ which features former NFL player/ actor Thomas Q. Jones as her leading man.

 

Luckett served her third album Back 2 Life, in May this year following her platinum self-titled album Letoya & her 2009 sophomore release Lady Luck. Letoya’s efforts and dedication to an R&B sound are noteworthy. Although this album seems to be a buzz single short of a radio friendly charting hit in comparison to her previous LPs. Sells aside, the album and three-part mini-movie have been easily appreciated by her fans & urban music lovers.

 

It was recently announced that Letoya Luckett will join the Queen of Hip Hop Soul, Mary J. Blige, on her Strength of a Woman tour, which is fantastic news for her camp. With show dates kicking off in Detroit on August 1st.
