Jhene Aiko recently dropped a brand new song called ‘Maniac,’ releasing her inner freak. The buzz single sees Aiko rap/ sing about her sexual innuendos in a more aggressive way that her past mellow R&B bedrock raps.

According in Billboard,

‘Maniac’ is part of an art project that involves Aiko being tied up in rope, as seen in the single’s cover art and a video debuted on Billboard. For the project, she worked with photographer and director Steven Taylor and a master in the art form of Japanese bondage called shibari. “This is something that the Japanese do and it’s decorative tying,” says Aiko.

Do you remember Aiko’s featured single ‘Pose To Be’ where she sang with Omarion and Chris Brown about having him “eating the booty like groceries,” well this seems like a continuation from this and fans are expecting the album to follow in this direction.

“Hop on a dick like a maniac/Head like a brainiac/ Got to read the signs like a zodiac / I’m a low-key freak, you don’t know me, yet,” she raps

We guess new boyfriend Big Sean has helped her released her superfreak. Take a listen to the single below:
