“And no one can love you, the way I used to do…”

It’s been 4 years since British girl group Little Mix were put together at the boot camp stages of X Factor UK by then judges Kelly Rowland, Louis Walsh, Gary Barlow and Tulisa Contostavlos. The girls never made it through individually to the next round, but the judges saw an opportunity and called the girls back to form them together and move them forward in the competition as a group.

Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson went on to win the show, becoming the first group to win in 8 series. Following their victory, they became the first girl group to reach the U.S. top 5 with their debut album, as well as earning the highest debut U.S. chart position by a British girl group, breaking the record previously held by the Spice Girls!

Little Mix are riding the success train and aren’t showing signs of slowing down any time soon, so what better way to celebrate their 4 year anniversary with an intimate concert for AOL Live from 30 Rock. The girls performed songs old and new, even going back to songs they covered during their time X Factor. It was when they performed new single ‘The End’ that things started to get too emotional for Perrie. See what we mean below..

It’s been a couple of weeks since the news went public of Perrie’s split from her fiance Zayn Malik, former One Direction member. He reportedly ended their two-year engagement via text, followed by signing a new record deal with RCA Records.

Things are obviously still hard for Perrie and it was only a matter of time before something like this happened, especially whilst singing such emotional and personal lyrics. Fans were supportive shouting ‘I love you’ as the rest of the group immediately comforted her until she was ready to move on to the next song.

We’re not sure how long this break up will last. It’s been reported that Zayn Malik is actually heading for a meltdown. Speaking to The Sun newspaper, a former ally of the 22-year-old said:

“He is self-destructing right now and I hope he’s got someone there fore him. I doubt he has, though, so that’s why I’m worried for him. He’s p***ing off so many people, it’s very hard to see him having much support left by the time he’s finally ready to release any music.”

If this is true, we predict he’ll come running back to the girl who was there for him in the beginning.

Is Perrie better off without Zayn? Tell us what you think..
