Queen of rap Missy Elliott returns with a fresh music video, for 2017, ‘I’m Better‘ featuring Lamb. The fans have been waiting for this… will a studio album shortly follow?

It’s been over a year since the 45-year old MC, dropped the critically acclaimed “WTF (Where They From)“, which put Missy Elliott back on the map for her fans and the new generation kids. The video featuring Sharaya J and many other of Missy’s talented friends proved that she still had the “FIYAH” in Missy voice. Elliott is a rare gem of our time, one of those innovators that will not push out music in vain… but in return this leaves her fans screaming out for more.

It’s been twelve years since Elliott put out her last album, The Cookbook, which served Missy a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album – but Missy has never been one to receive an overflow of awards/ accreditations, despite assisting the breakthrough of a HUGE list of careers; Nicole Wray, Jazmine Sullivan, Ciara, Aaliyah, Tweet and Ginuwine, to name a few.

Will you be watching Missy Elliott’s new documentary?

It’s a visual world… and in the day and age of reality television, and its push-through success of reality stars, it’s only right that Elliott kickstarts her own show. After all, she is managed by ratchet reality pimp, Mona Scott Young, the founder of Love & Hip-Hop.

Missy Elliott raps:

“My clique is so thick and the broads be hollin’ and whistlin’ / That be like damn bae / Man I’m 3000, I’m André / Yo Missy talk big, I’m so blind date / Bruce Lee on the beat, I don’t compete with none of these geeks / I just rant like I’m Kanye”

But The Big Question Is… Will Missy Drop An Album This Year?
