It has been an exciting year for British music and the MOBO Awards are back again in celebration of Music of Black Origin and to remind us of it’s year in music.

It is undeniable that Grime music looks to be growing from strength to strength in the scene, not to mention UK Hip Hop as a genre of music is really holding it’s own in the mainstream.

This year the success of Skepa‘s growing career from his album ‘Konnichiwa‘ and his recent Mercury Prize win, as well as Giggs album ‘Landlord‘ also debuting at the number 2 spot in the official UK Album charts.
