Actress/Film Producer/Business Mogul Vivica A. Fox is adding another title to her already long list of credits. She is now a television show creator with the Lifetime network original series Vivica’s Black Magic where cameras follow the actress around as she aims to put together a group of elite black male backup dancers.

Well the actress started a lot of controversy while on a press tour for the show  she made several remarks about the stripper TV series that were perceived as anti-gay.

The backlash came when the actress said very sternly “Hell no, They dance for women… it’s called the ultimate girls night out.” Leaving many to wonder if gay men were shut out from this. Exclusion is something many people are their foot down on as unacceptable in  2017.

.

The veteran actress took to her social media to address the comments.

After hearing Vivica’s comments the series director and producer Jean-Claude LaMarre immediately responded adamantly stating that he wanted nothing to do with Fox, but would continue to work on the series.

“The comments were out of order, and it does not represent our attitudes toward the LGBT community. All are welcomed, Vivica speaks for herself not the business or the show.”

DO YOU THINK HER REMARKS WERE OFFENSIVE OR DO YOU THINK PEOPLE ARE JUST OVERREACTING?
