Yeezy’s back! Kanye West drops new music, tweets release date for his new album Swish, and announces that his headline at Governors Ball.


It’s been three years since Ye’s 2013’s Yeezus digitial drop and unveils the release date for his seventh studio album via tweet. Kanye confirms February 11th, 2016 as the golden date, sharing the news with a mysterious tweet:



The G.O.O.D. Music founder has been confirmed to headline in the U.S., for the three-day Governors Ball East Coast festival, from Friday June 3rd through to Sunday June 5th, in New York, at at Randall’s Island Park. Mr West is one of over 65 acts including The Killers, Miguel, Mac Miller, De La Soul and Vic Mensa. The star-studded bill looks awesome, and sees Kanye return, as he previously headlined there in 2013.



Kanye followed up ‘Facts,’ his remix to Drake and Future’s ‘Jumpman,’ with the Ty Dolla $ign-assisted ‘Real Friends,’ closing the Soundcloud drop with a snippet of ‘No More Parties in LA,’ featuring Kendrick Lamar. The new album Swish has already had several tracks drop online, including ‘Only One,’ ‘All Day,’ the Sia and Vic Mensa feature ‘Wolves,’ and the Yeezy Season 2 runway show debut ‘Fade’ with Post Malone and Ty Dolla $ign.
