New Music: Monica – ‘Just Right For Me’ Feat. Lil’ Wayne Taneisha Nicole May 21, 2015 R&B Singer Monica is back with that new-new, and we aren’t just referring to her hot new hairstyle which we are too loving – she’s rocking that red pixie cut. Instead we are talking about her new single ‘Just Right For Me‘ featuring rapper Lil Wayne and produced by Polow Da Don, which is taken from her eighth studio album Code Red. There is no word on a release date for the new album just yet, but the new hairdo is very fitting for its release. In a recent catch up with People Magazine the ‘It All Belongs To Me’ singer explained the decision for her new do and how it coincides with her new album. “The cut symbolizes me getting back to the fearlessness and courageous part of myself that I shared with the world in the 90s when I released my first album ‘Miss Thang‘. / It’s easy to over-think things and not trust your natural instincts. I let go and let the music be created in my truth.” Adding to the anticipation of what to expect from her new record, Monica posted the following to her Instagram with the hashtag #comingsoon, way to keep us waiting Mrs Brown… #CodeRED #COMINGsoon I am one person, one artist, one voice so I can not fight for R & B alone but I can fight… I will sing from my heart & my soul and give every piece of me to the music and the genre that saved my life… There were no silver spoons but there was music!!! #LivingForTheMusic #JustRightForMeComingSoon ❤️❤️ MB ❤️❤️ #LiveByTheCode #TheCodeIsRED A photo posted by Monica Brown (@monicabrown) on May 19, 2015 at 5:22pm PDT The caption alone is enough to get the fans excited, for what some may feel is missing from the music genre and industry.
