Omarion Drops Music Video ‘Distance’ Ahead Of UK One-Off Show Team Curtains February 22, 2017 R&B singer Omarion drops an african inspired new music video for ‘Distance’, with hopes of breaking the commercial international market. While on name alone you may now think VH1 reality star, good father, nice hairstyles, good dancer – well anything but music… The truth is Omarion has a long sting of hits from his music with teenage boy band B2K, to his single successes Ice Box, Touch and the most recent Chris Brown & Jhene Aiko collab ‘Post To Be’ – which notably went 3x platinum in the US and even impacted the official UK R&B charts at #11. Offering tropical flavours, the music video stuns with rich greenery, jungle wildlife, including zebras, elephants, and giraffes. “Get me on the phone,” he sings. “I be up late night talking like a smooth operator / Losing all control / I need that boom-boom right now, baby.” Tweeting on the single, Omarion wrote: https://t.co/LHrqxba9un This is not just for the C U L T U R E. This is for the human race. Look beyond & you’ll get the message. enjoy! — OMARION (@1Omarion) February 10, 2017 This is Omarion’s second music visual offering for the year, as earlier this month he dropped a video for another single ‘BDY On Me,’ both singles said to be from his upcoming 2017 album, Reasons. This LP will be his first since his 2014’s Sex Playlist, and is expected to feature the fan anticipated single ‘Angel’ featuring Kehlani. Omarion had an eventful 2016, firstly welcoming his second child, he silently left Mona Scott Young’s Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood, then he shockingly announced his split from his fiancée April Jones... and well, has been looking for some Insta-ttention ever since.
