Happy Valentine’s Day!

Whether you’re celebrating solo or with a sidekick here at Team Curtains we have put together a five-track hotlist for you of some of our favourite jams of 2014. Ok now sit back or get up and rock with our Valentine’s playlist.

Did cupid miss you this year with his arrow? It has been the era of Bad bitches is the only thing that I like and rap songs like ‘Hot N***a,’ have our lovey-dovey love songs become a myth of the past! They are certainly hard to come by in Popular music. Don’t stress we have selected 5 musical gems right here for you:

1) Beyoncé ft. Jay-Z – ‘Drunk in Love’

An undeniable banger that had us all trying to swing our hips like Bey. The line that had everyone cracking up when the bathroom singers would sing ‘We be all night…Love’

2). Omarion – ‘Inside’

You know you watched VH1’s Love and Hip Hop Hollywood last year. That reality show showcased a cast full of couples that were perhaps better off apart! However Omarion and his girl April were definitely an exception to this, what a gorgeous couple and they seemed to be one of the only relationships that stayed unified though the drama. When he dropped his album Sex Playlist last year, we knew there would be a hot jam or two. Peep this on, we love right here:

3). DJ Khaled ft. Chris Brown, August Alsina, Jeremih & Future – ‘Hold You Down’

All the Club and radio DJ’s had this song on repeat last year, it’s a hip-hop love anthem! We truly relate to this, with you and the rest of our readers we so excited for what’s to come… ain’t nothing but love over here.

4).  Nicki Minaj ft. Jeremih – Favourite

We bump to this and that line… “I just wanna be your favourite,”  we can all relate to that right?

5).  Sam Smith – Stay with Me

We just had to add this tear jerking ballad. It’s inevitable that this song will go down in history as one of the great ballads, this Grammy winning song oozes with emotion and you know you love it just as much as we do.

What other songs would you add to this playlist?
