Award season is in full effect. The Screen Actors Guild Awards were held Sunday January 28, 2017. The superstars of film and television held no punches on the red carpet. It was a wonderful night full of honor, diversity, emotions, honesty, and love. In many ways it’s what we have been wanting our award shows to reflect for so long.

The red carpet was burning hot high fashion’s biggest designers on the bodies of Hollywood’s biggest stars.

Here are my favorite looks of the night:

(SAG Award Winner Taraji P. Henson stuns in a Reem Acra Gown)

(Black-ish Star Yara Shahidi in Naeem)

(Best Dressed Award: The Big Bang Theory Star Kaley Cuoco in Marchesa)

(SAG Award Winner Viola Davis shines in Vivienne Westwood)

As the first presenter Ashton Kutcher opened up the show with a couple words that set the tone for the show.

Ashton Kutcher: “Everyone in airports that belong in my America”

It was an obvious reference to Trump’s law barring the citizens of seven predominantly Muslim nations from entering the country.
