Tank Talks 5th Family Addition, Siya, Blue Eyed Soul Singers & Confirms TGT Album Budget Team Curtains March 9, 2015 We caught up with R&B crooner Tank in London right before his show alongside R&B quartet 112 & singer-songwriter/ producer Joe. We discuss new valentine’s EP If You Were Mine, songwriting for other artists & music plans for 2015. Did you know the ‘Stronger’ singer recently welcomed a 5th addition to his family? Yes – as well as releasing his latest studio album Stronger just August last year, managing Sisterhood of Hip-Hop artist Siya & 12TIL, Tank also been busy in his private life and welcomed newborn baby Zion to his family late last year. ‘The Grammy’s Didn’t Call Me’, says Tank. Discussing music credits and awards, Tank makes it clear that he follows the cheques, enjoys meeting his supporters while touring and expresses his thoughts on the future of R&B. The x9 Grammy award nominated artist penned hits such as ‘Regret’ for Letoya Luckett, ‘Ghetto’ for Kelly Rowland ft. Snoop Dogg & ‘O’ by former B2K lead Omarion. We discuss Tank’s style and songwriting formula ‘every record that I have given to an artist I don’t want’ explaining how he would hard to produce records that cater to the artists he submits music for.
