Tyra Banks On Rita Ora Being Announced As The New Host Of ANTM: ‘I Love Her!’ Team Curtains July 7, 2016 Its official, British “singer” and Hollywood socialite, Rita Ora has been announced as the new host of the hit modeling competition series, America’s Next Top Model and she has been given the stamp of approval by the show’s creator and staple presenter, Tyra Banks. ANTM was cancelled late last year after 22 cycles (seasons) of hardcore “smizing” and “booty-tooching” by the show’s parent network, The CW. Shortly after, in February 2016, it was announced that the series would be revamped and picked up by VH1, without Banks as its host. Well it looks as though the ratchet reality television station has chosen Ora to fill the void that Banks left. Check the clip below to see how Tyra feels about the UK star taking over her coveted role as the show’s lead presenter. So sweet! Since Tyra still serves as the show’s executive producer, we can all but guarantee that she had a hand in picking her predecessor, so its no surprise that she adores the Roc Nation recording artist. This is definitely a huge come up for the ‘Never Let You Down’ singer. If you remember the last we heard from Ms. Ora, she was battling “Becky” rumors and even her record label in a nasty lawsuit. We’re not sure how we feel about a British singer hosting an American modeling competition series but honestly we’re not sure anyone would be able to live up to the iconic moments of TV gold that Tyra Banks has given us while hosting Top Model. Oh don’t remember? Allow us to refresh your memory. What do you think of Rita Ora being the new host of ‘ANTM’? Will you watch? Let us know in the comments below!
