The Young Money Saga continues.

Rapper Drake recently sat down for an interview with Beats1 Radio where he discussed his latest album, Views From The 6, his relationship with Rihanna, and why he and his long-time friend and label mate, Nicki Minaj, no longer speak.

When asked about the current riff between Cash Money Records CEO, Birdman, and Young Money founder, Lil Wayne, Drake gave his perspective on how the beef has changed the dynamic between the joint label venture and its roster of artists, including his relationship with the ‘Starships’ superstar Nicki Minaj.

As some of you may remember Drake was involved in a very public on-going feud with Minaj’s boyfriend and fellow rapper, Meek Mill. In the interview the ‘Hotline Bling’ MC shared that since their highly-publicized squabble, he and Minaj have not spoken.

Check out the clip after the jump:

“I understand what love is, and I understand the personal situation. She dealt with me how I would expect her to, which was with class. […] I’ll always have respect and love for Nicki and unfortunately we don’t speak but it is what it is”

This breaks our hearts!

In the past, Nicki Minaj and Drake have been known for their close relationship. Minaj frequently referred to Drake as her “little brother”, to which Drake would call Minaj the “love of his life.”

So to know that these two aren’t speaking anymore on top of the recent antics of Birdman and Tyga’s newfound life as a Kardashian, it seems as though the cracks in the YMCMB family foundation are really starting to show.

Nicki Minaj and Drake have had countless collaborations, including iconic moments like the on-screen twerk session in Minaj’s ‘Anaconda’ video and their make believe wedding in the ‘Moment 4 Life’ video so we hope to see a reconciliation soon!

But until then allow us to reflect on a much simpler time with the Young Money duo:
